CONNECT WITH YIT IN OUR DEVELOPING MUSIC PROGRAM TO ENHANCE YOUR INTELLECTUAL EXCELLENCE

Students will sing fun songs that help teach rhythm and tonality as well as enjoy time with new friends that enjoy their same interests. Students will develop beginning music skills including: listening skills, pitch matching, breath support, solfege, and rhythm all while simultaneously developing social interaction and individual expression. This group will have the opportunity to perform in our recital at the end of each semester.

Students are encouraged to participate in both Fall and Spring Semesters and will learn new skills and new songs in each semester.
Group voice lessons focus on a variety of music styles to promote the development of proper breathing, resonance, and tone production, in addition to performance style and interpretation.

Available for students that are new to singing starting at age 6. Must be able to read independently. Some additional materials may be required.
