Youth Inspirations Theatre is proud to provide music, theatre and dance education for our youngest of stars. Like all classes offered at YIT, our preschool classes are modified to be developmentally appropriate. Therefore, classes will vary depending on the age of the students and the number of children in the class.
Theatre Education is a gateway for life skills which include:

Creating a Character

This class is an exciting introduction into the world of acting! We will take a deeper look at what it takes to bring a character to life. These foundational skills are perfect for building and exploring characters, expanding concentration, and developing physicality. This class aims to encourage the child to trust his/her imagination and intuition which is an essential tool for an actor. This class is suitable for beginners or intermediate actors looking to hone their craft.

These foundational skills are perfect for building and exploring characters, expanding concentration, and developing physicality. This class is suitable for beginners or intermediate actors looking to hone their craft.

The curriculum includes lessons in directing, the importance of stage presence, theatre terminology and more.
WANT TO STAND OUT IN AUDITIONS OR IMPROVE YOUR STAGE PRESENCE?
Join one of YIT’s instructors for individualized curriculum for levels beginner to professional. In private acting lessons students will learn the most essential skills for any actor to know including: expression of the body, voice, imagination, personalizing, improvisation, external stimuli, and script analysis.
Students will learn how to perform pieces that suit them well, and show off their individuality, while also acquiring basic stage etiquette.
Private Lessons are available for students ages 8 and up.
