Jeanne Bowling
Jeanne Bowling is a voice teacher, musical/choral director, performer, and designer. She currently teaches musical theatre at Butler University and directs youth musical theatre. She has a Master of Vocal Pedagogy degree from Westminster Choir College. At Marian University, she taught voice, directed Show Choir, University Choir and Women’s Chorus, and was the Musical Director for the Marian University Theatre Department. At Park Tudor School, Jeanne taught voice and was an assistant choral director. She is a founding member of Summer Stock Stage, for whom she served as musical director for over 30 productions including “A Chorus Line”, “Into the Woods,” and “West Side Story.” In addition, Jeanne has been the music director for professional and educational theatre in productions of “Cabaret” at the University of Indianapolis, “Nunsense” at Anderson University, and “American Idiot” and “Peter and the Starcatcher” at the Phoenix Theatre. As a performer, Jeanne has performed at Beef & Boards, Civic Theatre, Indianapolis Opera, and with the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra.
