Arin Anderson
Arin Anderson is a vocal coach, creative director and multidisciplinary artist from East Central Indiana. She began her musical journey at age 3 on stage at the Paramount Theater in Anderson, In. At age 10 she began touring the country in a small children group as back up for American Christian music singer Sandi Patty. Arin graduated Bradley University in 2009 with degrees in Vocal Performance and Public Relations, where she was in leadership with SAI international music women’s music fraternity, VH1 Save the Music program, and student radio. In 2007-2008 Arin studied jazz and modern music at the University of Hull in the UK, where she performed in various regional venues and recorded professionally in partnership with the University and City of Hull. Recently, Arin has enjoyed playing the role of Hannah in Newsies, and working on the directorial and production teams for Disney’s Descendants, SpongeBob the Musical, Into the Woods, and Godspell, and performing as a featured soloist in various regional events. In addition to her time in the theater, Arin works as a creative
director, private vocal and triple threat audition coach, and teaches various Broadway workshops, including resumes and brand building for young performers. Working in both the creative and business side of the entertainment industry for over 15 years, Arin has found a passion for arts education and mentoring young creative talent. She’s thrilled to be joining such a talented group of humans at the YIT this semester!
